Oh preacher, tell me how you feel
About the Bible story
That all are same in heaven-land
Absorbing all God’s glory.
You feel it’s true! What a relief--
That means you’re striving for
A gender-fair society--
Like me--no roles to mar…
What’s that? You say “IN HEAVEN--
BUT NOT RIGHT HERE ON EARTH”?
“Here we all have roles to play…
According to our birth”?
What a shame--our Gods differ
About the ones they value.
My GOD loves us all the same
Her and him, me and you!
My CREATOR loves all life--
Plant, animal, and people
And does not require some to die
Before they will be “equal”!
