Age 19, Snyder –

Funeral services held at 10:30 am Friday October 3rd in the James G. Blaine Fieldhouse, Snyder with Rev. Patrick McPherson, Pastor First United Methodist Church, Snyder, officiating.

Eric died Tuesday south of Weatherford, Oklahoma in an automobile accident.

Burial is at the Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder, under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Snyder.

Eric was born December 27, 1988 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Todd and Deatra (Bortell) Huckabay. He graduated from Snyder High School in 2007 where he was active in band and basketball. He was also a member of the UMC Youth Group. He enjoyed video games and computers, as well as snow skiing. He was a student at SWOSU. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Snyder.

He is survived by his parents, of the home; 2 sisters, Kaylee and Cassidy Huckabay, both of the home; Grandfather, Gary Huckabay and wife Betty, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Grandmother, Deanna Allen, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Grandfather, Derrel Bortell and wife Beverly, Pocasset, Oklahoma; Grandmother, Beverly Bradford, Chickasha, Oklahoma; Great Grandmother, Margaret Erwin, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Many Aunts, Uncles and close friends and a special friend, Danica Weaver, Snyder, Oklahoma.
