Robert Cerda is an artist from San Antonio, Texas. He received his BFA from SyracuseUniversity in 2000. Cerda sculpts, as well as paints, and is always looking for new materials to incorporate into his art. He describes his work as organic and "multi-layered". The music he listens to while painting is as important for inspiration as is the act of painting. His influences include Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails and Mogwai. Currently, Cerda's paintings are hanging in Cafe Paladar off of Loop 1604.
