To Brooke, Nicole, & Heather,

Invasive thoughts will always be a welcome intrusion into our daily trafficking: mental, physical, spiritual. Thanks for the immense job you did for the entire community of citizens, writers, poets, & readers. Your e-zine was an intelligent, well thought out, and refreshing contribution to the arts in our neck of the woods. You will be "poetically" missed. Thanks for providing a venue so that poets such as myself could be read. Personally, it was through your efforts that my book of poems, Red Accordion Blues was voted #1 in your online contest. I applaud your intentions to produce one final massive sense-surround Invasive Ground Assault. I'd like to be in on that. I'll be sending you something soon. Thanks for your work. Buena Suerte in your new pursuits. We'll cross paths in other realms.

Gracias,

Fernando E. Flores

We’ll miss you! Thank you for years of creativity.

Dear Brooke, Nicole, and Heather,

…as the old saying goes, "all good things must come to an end." You have had a good run and are to be commended highly for the excellent quality of your e-zine! I have always enjoyed it very much. I do hope that you figure out some way to save the web pages and I think a hardcopy "Best Of" book would be something that a lot of people would be interested in having a copy of. I know I would be!

Brooke, strangely, after receiving this notice from Nicole via Facebook yesterday [about the final issue], I had a very strange dream in which Nicole and a group of dancers sent me an invitation to contribute to Invasive Thoughts, but it was her and this dance group doing very strange, convulsive type dances, while chanting my name over and over, in various tones,

"Eronn, Eronn, EEEEEERRRRROOOOONNNNNN!" and it was hilarious.  I really enjoyed the dream, as it made me laugh.  Maybe I can somehow transform this dream into a writing piece, maybe it's a sign......

Thanks for the "ride" and for the memories!

Well, nice run! We'll always have Fishbone!!!! best of luck to all involved- Sascha

I am sad to see it end. It was a great venture! You should be so proud of yourselves! Thanks for inspiring us to be creative and for creating such a thoughtful, thought-provoking, fun, and beautiful E-zine! Good luck with your respective pursuits and do let us know where you've archived the content. I hope that some day you will come up with another similar idea and will get people involved again. Farewell, Invasive Thoughts--and all the best to Brooke, Heather, and Nicole!

Sincerely,

Joleen
