A new collection for the New Year

By Heather Croxton

My latest collection “Like Oil and Water” is a mixed collection of photos and digital art.  My curiosity of how/why oil and water separate the way they do when they are put together was the original inspiration for this collection.  I experimented with a few different liquids to see how they reacted with the oil as well, so there is some variation in this collection.  All the colors are the natural colors from the different mixtures, the contrast is the only thing altered in the first set.

The second set is digital photo art; I used some of the pictures in the first set and creative software to produce these intriguing patterns.
