A real dream
Alexandria E.  Garza

Open your eyes and wake up.

Often times you feel as if you are dreaming your way through life, and at other times you feel as though you are fully awake in an evil of reality.

Did you know that dreams can be real life too?

Though dreams may be absurd, irrational, and completely out of your control . . . does waking life differ all that much?

Perhaps the rationality of a controlled people

is much less real than the nighttime dreams of a man who loves his God.

If God is Reality personified,

then who is really lucid: the saint who has dreamt of a Savior and woken up to see that his dream is real, or the atheist who mocks his own corpse, as his slumber leads to death and he wonders why he could not ever dream . . .

Are you still asleep?  I do not suppose you have ever had a real dream.  I do suppose you have said to yourself sometime, “I hate reality.”

Is that a phrase you heard in a movie?

Free will can dream in the Colors of Reality; you can experience the embrace of Trust.  For our God has all control (you only have what He gives you),

His commandments are absurd (eat My Flesh and drink My Blood),

His Love is irrational (He died for our sins).

Open your eyes and

wake up.

You will be alive in a substance called faith.
